Membership Benefits
By being a current member of the club, it gives you the ability, with Committee approval, to host your own functions. We do not charge for the hire of our beautiful rooms or garden area and we do not offer the service to those who are not current members. These events will typically be wedding parties, major anniversary celebrations, big birthday parties etc. etc. We are lucky to have an Events Team which are very experienced in making such days happen and furthermore we have our very own resident DJ who will keep your party going (subject to his availability).

We understand that everything needs to be perfect for your big day so any wedding reception booked at our venue will be given the care and attention that it deserves. Our Events Team will closely work with you to ensure that every detail is considered. We have hosted many wedding receptions over the years ranging from small family gatherings to huge events.

It's always great to throw a party to celebrate a milestone birthday whether it's your own or perhaps a big surprise for a loved one (we can keep a secret!).

For christenings, the club is located literally over the road to the Desborough, St Giles church and also just a short walk from other places of worship so we are an ideal choice to host your celebration.
The club can be used for a variety of other reasons and is ideal to host family reunions. Please just get in touch with us and we can talk through your needs.

Our beautiful lounge area can be booked by current club members for events relating to any number of business reasons, these can include work celebrations, training days or used as a room to host other corporate related activities.

It’s a sad part of life that some of those who we cherish pass away. At Desborough Services we are very experienced at hosting wakes in memory of our members loved ones whether it is for gatherings of just a few people or for much larger amounts of individuals.
Please speak to either our General Manager or Bar Manager about your requirements and we will be very pleased to assist in any way that we can. Please note that we can usually accommodate earlier opening hours if necessary.

Events of the last couple of years has taught us all that it’s important to celebrate while we can and especially so when it comes to remembering those that we could not do so in the way that we would have wanted to due to the pandemic.
We have been asked in recent times to host memorial days in memory of loved ones – it’s a great way to honour their lives and achievements, it’s also a lovely way to bring together family and friends.
Please speak to our General Manager about your requirements and we will be very pleased to assist in any way that we can.
BUFFETS
We provide cold buffet food for our hosted events. These buffets are lovingly prepared by our Events Team and are becoming ever increasingly knows for their quality, quantity and good value.
The team will stay in close contact with you during the lead up to your event and the exact menu, quantities and pricing will be agreed before your event. Please note that payment of the buffet is required no less than 7 days before the event.
Barbeque food from our Outdoor Food Kitchen can be incorporated into your menu.
